Bells have featured widely this year, due to the Jubilee and Olympics, and so the idea behind the Big Ring Day is more of a local tower open day to help individual towers who wish to build on the recent publicity about bells in general (eg from the Martin Creed project), and perhaps capture any potential new recruits.
Attached are a few ideas, plus electronic bellringing leaflets that Hurstpierpoint and Storrington have produced; this may help towers to think about making their own versions (they will also soon be circulated to tower correspondents, as Word versions). The authors are happy
