There are just three places remaining on the SCACR Annual Ringing Course, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November. The "Beyond Plain Bob Minor" course, run by Jeremy Alford, has three places available; all the other courses are fully-booked. This course is designed for those people who want to progress from ringing plain courses of Plain Bob Minor to ring touches and other Minor methods. The methods rung will likely include St Clements, Double Oxford, and Kent, but will be flexible to accommodate the learners' needs.
To get the most from this course you need to be able to:
- Hear your bell and adjust your striking accordingly
- Ring confidently on bells with differing tenor weight and length of rope draught to your home tower
- Ring plain courses of Plain Bob Minor confidently

The cost for adult members is £30 for 2 days. The cost for junior members is £5 which is refundable after the completion of the course.
