BBC Music Day is returning for its third year on Thursday 15 June 2017, celebrating music’s ability to unite communities across generations. This year bell-ringers have been asked to play an even bigger role, ringing hand bells and in towers around the globe at 1900 local time see information here, including how to participate. Last year over 200 bell-ringing groups signed up across the UK.

This year’s attempt aims to include bell-ringers from as far afield as Australia and Zimbabwe to create a very special bell-ringing moment.

Hundreds of other bell ringers around the world, from Sydney to Zimbabwe to the UK, will also be ringing in support of BBC Music Day in a global bell ringing event.
