Event Description:

All welcome! You are cordially invited to the SCACR AGM 2022. There will be:

  • open ringing (rounds-onwards) at the Association's only 12-bell tower
  • handbells
  • the Association Bookstall - an opportunity to buy books and other resources to help progress your ringing, provide guidance on belfry maintenance, historical information, etc...
  • a display of archive materials from the Association Library
  • an opportunity to purchase an assortment of duplicate ringing books from the Association Library for modest donations
  • a chance to have a go on John Norris's training dumb-bell
  • ringers' tea!! 

Event schedule:

  • 2.30-4.00 pm - open ringing (rounds onwards) 
  • 4.00-4.30 pm - service by Canon Andrew
  • 4.30 pm - tea (in church hall)
  • 5.15 pm - annual general meeting

We are delighted to invite you to the SCACR AGM at St Swithun's, East Grinstead, on the afternoon of Saturday 14th May. The event will include open ringing (rounds onwards) on the Association's only 12-bell tower, a short service by Canon Andrew, and ringers' tea, as well as the meeting itself. 

Parking is available in the small church car park (free), and the larger Chequer Mead car park nearby. The church is a 10 minute walk from East Grinstead train station. Map and street address of the church here.
