All welcome at the second post-lockdown Northern District get-together! We're looking forward to seeing people in-person...

You can join for all or part of this event. If you don't fancy walking, feel free to drive or cycle between towers. Ringing at both towers, picnic lunch at Cowfold and tea and cake at West Grinstead, and an optional walk between. 

Timings:

• 12.15-1.30 pm - join Anne and Guy at West Grinstead church to walk over to Cowfold (3 miles, approx 1 1/4 hours), followed by lunch in Cowfold (there is a pub and a Co-op in the village, or bring your own picnic and eat it in the church/churchyard)
• 2.00-2.45 pm - ringing at Cowfold
• 2.45-4.15 pm - walk back to West Grinstead
• 4.15-5.15 pm - ringing, tea/coffee and cake at West Grinstead (please bring your own mug)

The walk is flat but a bit rutted, with a few stiles, and only a few very short sections along roads.  Dogs must be kept on a lead due to livestock in the fields.  Sturdy shoes/boots and long trousers are advised.  There are likely to be some people with cars at Cowfold who can give others a lift back to West Grinstead. 

Children are very welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by a nominated adult. 

Both towers are ground floor rings, with plenty of air circulation. Hand sanitiser will be available, and facemasks are optional in the ringing areas. 

There is parking available at both towers, and Cowfold also has a toilet. 

Please note that the paths to both churches are uneven and can be slippery when wet. Although Cowfold is a ground floor ringing room, there are two steps from the main church body.
