Event Description:

The weekly Association Novices' Practices will resume on Saturday 9th January 2021. Join this friendly and supportive practice to have a go at Ringing Room, and progress your skills from rounds and call changes up to ringing inside to Plain Doubles methods.

Would you like to progress your knowledge and skills on doubles and minor methods over the coming weeks using RingingRoom and Zoom? Then the Moving on to Minor Practices are for you! As well as the Saturday afternoon sessions, there will be some homework (writing methods out and/or using Mobel/Abel). No previous knowledge of Ringing Room? Don't worry, register to join a Novices' Practice first to learn the basics and have some fun! 
 

Please do encourage your friends to join as learners or helpers! You do not need to commit to attend every week.

You'll need to fill in the Google forms for each practice in advance (deadline 5 pm the day before) to join - contact Steph via This email address is being protected from spambots. Note the change of time of the Novices' Practice from last year!

  • Meet for a chat from 3 pm (please join by 3.20 pm at the latest for the Novices' Practice)
  • 3.30-4.30 pm - Novices' Practice 
  • 4.30-4.45 pm - break 
  • 4.45-5.45 pm - Moving on to Minor Practice
