Northern District Saturday Social - Saturday 7th June, 09:30am - 4:30pm, West Grinstead & Cowfold< /strong>
 
As the weather continues to treat us, we look to June as the Northern District hosts our next Sat urday Social... Ringing with a country walk in the stunning Sussex countrys ide! Ringing at < em>West Grinstead is followed by a social country walk to Cowfold< /em>, where we pause for lunch (with several options available!). Post-lunc h ringing at Cowfold is then followed by a stroll back to West Grinstead fo r those that wish! The walk is approximately 1h30, with 1h45 al lotted for styles and fields (please do note some fields may contain co ws or horses).
 
The timings for the day are as follows: 
 
9:30am - 10:30am: Ringing at W est Grinstead
10:30am - 12:15pm: Walk to Cowfold
12:15p m - 1:30pm: Lunch in Cowfold (see below)
1:30pm - 2:30pm: Ringing at Cowfold 
2:30pm - 4:15pm: Walk back to West Grinstead&nb sp;
 
Attendees are invited to bring a picnic lunch, though a number of other l unch options also exist, including: The Hare and Hounds Pub, Cowfold (menu available her e, 250yds south on A281); Cowfold Cottage Tandoori (detai ls available here, within 50yds); the Co-op (within 50yds); and a number of loca l coffee shops and cafes (also within 50yds). 
 
All are welcome to attend for as much or as little as they would like, and walking isn't required if you would just like to join us fo r ringing! Some lifts may also be available on the return to West Grinstead if you'd prefer to walk only one direction. Ringing is tailored to suit al l, from rounds on 6 onwards, including Call Changes, Plain Hunt, Grandsire, Stedman, and even Surprise Minor (subject to available experience)!
