Kirdford Tower are having an open afternoon with ringing rom 2pm until 4.30pm, followed by a tea whilst the bells are double muffled for the home team to practice ringing on them ready for the memorial service of their late Vicar who died during lockdown.. Fully muffled bells are reserved for the death of the Monarch, the Bishop of the Diocese or the incumbent Vicar, so a rare chance to hear bells being rung like this..
