The SCACR Library

The Association Library contains a wealth of information for any ringer.

What sort of things might you look for in the Library?
Do you wish to find out how many quarter peals have been rung at your tower?
Are you interested in researching a special member of your band?
Do you want to know about ringing in Sussex?

The Catalogue is available on the SCACR website and is updated regularly. There are approx 300 volumes including books on Sussex bells, SCACR annual reports and peal records, general interest, method composition etc, plus bound ringing magazines (The Ringing World from 1911, Bell News, Campanologia, The Bellringer, SCACR's Soundbow from 1976), minute books, postcard albums and scrapbooks etc. The catalogue has been produced 'by author' and 'by subject' to make searching easier.

We are keen for members to use it! "Using it", means not only borrowing items, but also depositing items for a wider audience to see. We are happy to accept offers of donations, but space is limited and if an item is already in stock we hope that would-be donors will not be offended if we have to decline an offer.
